The Authors Deck was founded by Sunayana Chibba, an
experienced event organiser with two decades of experience. The goal of the
Authors Deck is to build a reading community and reconnect people with our
cultural history and diversity, particularly in an era dominated by technology.
The Author’s deck celebrates literature, culture and shared
knowledge. The delightful event took place at Dear Donna, Qutub Hotel, New delhi
co-hosted by Mrs. Ratan Kaul, founder of the Public Diplomacy forum, the event
featured esteemed panelists discussing the relevance of reading in today’s
world.
An evening soiree with promising fun filled session with authors on their books and columns that go beyond boundaries.
Amongst the distinguished panelists were Dr. Blossom Kochhar, a renowned figure in the Indian beauty and wellness industry, Kamini Puri, author of “The Red Munia” and a social worker. The panelists also had Mrs. Ritu Bhagat, educationist author of the book “English Hinglish” and journalist Nishtha Gautam talking about her book “In Hard times”.
On the occasion, Sunayana Chibba stated, “We are fostering a reading community and inviting everyone to be part of this journey. Out goal is to build a vibrant reading community. This is the third edition of The Author’s deck, and I am thrilled to have the support of Mrs. Ratan Kaul of the Public Diplomacy Forum, a renowned name in the book culture.”
The event also had some delicious snacks and drinks as a
part of the high tea which allowed the guests to unwind and have personal
discussions with the authors and the book lovers present at the event. The guests were happy to engage with their favorite authors and also enjoyed hampers sponsored by Blossom Kochhar's aroma magic.
