We recently booked the luxurious Hyatt Regency Gurgaon to celebrate father’s day with a weekend staycation with family. We had decided to stay in the Regency Executive Suite room featuring one king room, spacious separate living and dining area, floor-to-ceiling windows and great views of the hotel pool. The room was very spacious and the kids had ample space all to themselves to enjoy their time at the hotel. The bathroom was spacious and it had a private jetted tub and white marble flooring. Along with some television to keep the kids entertained while playing in the jacuzzi.

After
spending some time in the rooms where we ordered lunch through in room dining
which had a lavish spread. We headed to the luxurious Shivasa Spa to
enjoy a couple spa and some special relaxation time.

Offering an array of pampering massages & therapies to choose from, We tried the foot massage along with a deep tissue message which was done by professional masseurs which left us stress free and feeling light and relaxed. The kids were in for a treat as they had the weekend to just relax and have fun by the pool. After the spa we went by the poolside to let the kids enjoy by the pool. The hotel also has a state of the art gym which is designed to ensure top notch facilities for your health goals.
For
dinner, we headed to the newest Japanese restaurant that had recently opened at
the hotel. We were lucky enough to get to experience the culinary mastery of
their seasoned chefs and warm hospitality of the amazing staff.
It was
a culinary delight at SHIN’YA, the newest Izakaya eatery and bar at Hyatt
Regency Gurgaon! In addition to the standard sake, Shochu and beer, Shin’ya also
has a great selection of cocktails with Japanese flavors. Mixology counter has
their experts like Prasad work their magic. We started with a Wasabi negroni.
The seating for around 45 guests with light and minimalistic decor is perfect for some good time after midnight with soothing music by resident DJ.
Its diverse menu encompasses a range of culinary delights such as yakitori, grilled meats and fish, karaage, edamame, pickled vegetables, sashimi, sushi, and robata.
Izakya
is about experimenting with a variety of small plates and chef Adi Melaz menu doesn’t
disappoint.
Shin’ya
has a good selection of sushi and sashimi. You have to try the chef Adi’s
recommended dishes from the menu. My standout dishes were Prawn tempura, and the
Lobster was just too good.
Japanese desserts are a class apart , and the matcha roulade, a green tea sponge roll with vanilla ice cream, berries, and icing sugar; Kakigori, shaved ice, condensed milk, syrup, berries is delicious.
