Chittar Kabab!


'Chhittar Kabab' draws inspiration from the rich culinary traditions of North India. The name reflects the bold flavors and vibrant spices characteristic of the region. This recipe is a delightful fusion of Indian masalas creating a dish that pays homage to the diverse and aromatic cuisine of the North.

Ingredients :

- 300gm chicken mince

- 1 egg white

- 2 tsp coriander powder

- 1 tsp cumin powder

- 2 green chilies, chopped

- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

 - Handful of chopped coriander leaves

- 2 tbsp cashew nut paste

- 2 tbsp butter

- Salt to taste


Instructions :

1. In a bowl, mix chicken mince, egg white, coriander powder, cumin powder, chopped green chilies, cashew paste and chopped coriander leaves.

2. Form medium-sized balls and shape them into cutlets with gentle pressure.

3. In a pan, add a little butter and warm it. Once melted, spread it evenly.

4. Place the cutlets in the pan, adjusting the quantity according to the pan size.

5. Cook on medium heat until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side.

6. Repeat the process, flipping again to achieve a crispy golden brown texture on both sides.

7. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
